Police in Luwero District are investigating a tragic case of domestic violence that ended with the death of Charles Bunjo, a 54-year-old driver, allegedly at the hands of his second wife, Regina Namande, 38.
The incident occurred on Thursday evening at about 5:30pm in Kyamufumba Village, Kakabala Parish, Butuntumula Sub-county.
According to reports, Namande was allegedly involved in an extramarital affair with a man identified as Emmanuel Kyalufenge, a resident of the same village.
The Savannah Region Police spokesperson, ASP Sam Twiineamazima, revealed that the fatal altercation began when Kyalufenge visited the couple’s home, provoking Bunjo's anger.
