Dean Lubowa Ssaava, Chief of Strategy at TV10 Gano Mazima, has forfeited all his broadcasting equipment and been fined UGX 4M for running an unlicensed online TV.
Court heard that between Nov 2018 and Sept 2025, he operated without a licence from the Uganda Communications Commission.
He was fined:
• 3M for operating without a licence
• 500K for illegal broadcasting
• 500K for disobeying lawful orders
In default, he faces 1 year in prison, with time spent on remand to be deducted.
All equipment including cameras, microphones, mixers, flash disks and computers has been forfeited to UCC.
