The Uganda Communications Commission -UCC has ordered Boona FM, Rukungiri to suspend business following battles between its Radio Station Manager Namanya Kakyene Santurina and Minister of Security, Rtd. Maj. Gen. Jim Muhwezi.
At first, it was Kakyene suspended for reportedly uttering out words against the Minister, which were deemed as below the Minimum Broadcasting Standards by the UCC.
Kakyene says it's Politicized witch-hunt from the Minister through the UCC. He says he was not even given chance to defend himself.
