There is tension in NUP after reports came out indicating that security officials in govt are secretly holding meetings how to arrest of NUP president Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi wine ,the party's first lady ,Secretary General Captain Lewis Rubongoya , the party lawyer George Musisi and journalists(who never reported the matter to police yet they saw what happened) will be conducted.
According to the security list we have seen a total of 23 National Unity platform members are to be arrested and only 8 have so far been arrested including Waiswa Mufubiro and the rest are on the security radar.
These are said to have participated in a military parade at Kavule without asking for permission from the ministry of defence and other relevant authorities in govt, their actions caused panic to top officials in Statehouse.
As we had informed you some time back, days after Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi wine inspected the parade of foot soldiers, Gen Muhoozi gave orders to police IGP Abas Byakagaba to arrest him however he refused after contacting Gen Museveni in Statehouse and military commanders at makindye barracks who also refused the order.
We have learnt that the leader of opposition Joel Ssenyonyi is not the list of those to be arrested because he was away during the time it took place at Kavule.
