Harriet Nakamya, the outgoing RDC, has been directed to hand over office and report to State House Headquarters. The directive was issued by the Permanent Secretary in the Office of the President, Hajj Yunus Kakande. However, Nakamya has reportedly refused to comply, claiming that only President Museveni has the authority to remove her. She alleges that her removal is part of a broader “mafia” plot.
