NUP party strong man Chairman Fred sentamu Nyanzi has declared a total war on Kampala city lord mayor Elias Lukwago whom he accusses of disrespecting and failing to work with NUP councilors who seat at KCCA city hall.
While meeting councillors at NUP headquarters in Kavule, Nyanzi revealed that he is going to work with them to end Lukwago's reign at KCCA come 2026.
Nyanzi revealed that his party has already given him a go ahead to contest as Lord mayor in 2026 elections and that he will soon start meeting Kampala residents under the theme "" KAMPALA YAFFE ".
On Saturday last week Nyanzi met Muslims in Makindye and asked for their support as he lays plans to make Kampala city great again.
Nyanzi vowed that if he is elected Mayor Kampala city will never have incidences like the one that happened in Kiteezi because he has connections with the rich who are willing to financially and technically sort out the rubbish problem.
"Kampala city will never have potholes and rubbish again if i become the Lord Mayor because i have grown up in the city and i know everything".
We have been told that Chairman Nyanzi who has the backing of Kampala city tycoons and wealthy businessmen has vowed to empty his bank accounts if its what it takes to end Lukwago's reign at KCCA.
