A family in Rwampara District is seeking justice after their 11-year-old son, Emmanuel Nowaamani, was knocked by a Sino truck, registration number UBQ 897Z, on July 9, 2025, and left bedridden with a fractured leg.

Despite spending a month at Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital, he was discharged after his family failed to afford specialized treatment. His mother, Emily Asiimire, says they have sold all their property in vain and accuses Nyeihanga Police of failing to act, allowing the truck to continue operating. Emmanuel has missed school exams and appeals for justice.
