Raised by her single father, Nwagi developed a passion for music during her school years, actively participating in music, dance, and drama activities. However, she faced challenges, including dropping out of school and being asked to leave her father's home during her teenage years.

Nwagi's music career gained momentum when she became the second runner-up in a local talent search reality TV show. This exposure led to her signing with Swangz Avenue, a leading Ugandan record label

She is renowned for several hit songs, including: "Musawo", "Bunsonso Mola", "Fire Dancer", "Embeera"
Her music blends traditional Ugandan sounds with contemporary Afrobeat rhythms, earning her a significant following both locally and internationally.
